Kiwibop Review!

January 24th, 2015 by Kayleigh Davidson with no comments

As a teacher, I’m very keen to products that boost the learning experiences young children have. When I heard about Kiwibop, I knew I just had to try it out!

Kiwibop is a subscription service that sends out postcards to your child monthly. Each postcard has a vibrantly colored photo, along with a few interesting facts about the photo. Your child will immediately receive a welcome package with their first four postcards upon signing up, along with stickers and a fun activity. Each month after they will receive four more beautiful postcards, each overflowing with awesomeness!

There are three subscription packages to choose from: monthly, biannual, and annual. All come with free shipping (yes please!) and definitely don’t break the bank! The prices are $3.99, $3.79 ($22.74 total), and $3.59 ($43.08 total) per month respectively, and there is absolutely no pressure and you can cancel at any time!

I really liked their website as well, specifically the “Fact Explorer” page. Here, you can find a ton of great pictures and facts to go along with them, just like you would find on the postcards. You can search by topic and keyword, or just browse through the photos they have posted. Talk about bang for your buck!

Another great thing about their service is that a portion of your membership fees go towards their charity work! That means that they provide complimentary services to children coping with life threatening illnesses or injuries. This is a great way to give back and spread amazing knowledge!

Since we don’t have kids, whenever I find something that I love or want to try that’s specifically for kids, I always use my little brother as a guinea pig. He just turned seven and loves getting mail just as much as I do! When I presented him with the welcome packet, he was beyond excited! He couldn’t wait to read every card, and then reread them again and again. He then ran around the house telling everybody about the cards, and even our other brothers (ages 14 and 18) were interested in taking a look. I think they were a little jealous that they didn’t get a set of postcards for themselves!

This is really a great subscription box service, and I think any child would benefit from it, regardless if they can read on their own or not. I’m very partial to learning experiences too, which is why I feel so strongly about this!

I have not received any compensation for writing this post. I have no material connection to the brands, products, or services that I have mentioned. I received the product mentioned above for free in the hope that I would review it on our blog site. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
