I absolutely love making cards. I even have two boxes full of them, created to send a variety of messages including love, get well soon, happy birthday, and more. While I am well stocked (for the time being) there are times that I have run out of cards that send the kind of message that I need (my family AND my husband’s family are huge, so birthday cards are a godsend).
I also know that remembering to grab a card at the store can be such a pain when you are already juggling your shopping list, cart, and children. And finding time to create a nice card AND keep up with the millions of things you already have on your plate? FORGET IT.
This is where Nicely Noted comes into play. Every month, Nicely Noted sends you three gorgeous and beautifully created cards that celebrate a variety of life’s events. Bonus: they send you the stamps too! You know you can remember a time where you actually remembered to buy a card, but realized at the last minute that you forgot to grab stamps too.
This month, I received three letter pressed cards that covered the three basic types of cards: thank you, congratulations, and (the one I need the most) happy birthday. My opinion? AMAZING!
All three of the cards were blank inside, which I particularly appreciate. Sometimes you find a card that fits the occasion on the outside, but when you open it up, the message isn’t quite right. Remember that saying? Never judge a book by its cover. The same applies to cards.
This is the thank you card. I love the simplicity of the design and that, while it is obviously a thank you card, it can be given to literally anybody! If somebody does a nice thing for you, then it is a thank you. However, if you notice somebody doing something kind for another, you can still give them this card to let them know they are appreciated. I am all about spreading kindness and generosity. This is the card for me!
This card made me giggle. My husband liked this card the best, and I particularly liked that it can celebrate anything. It doesn’t just have to be for graduation, job promotion, engagement, etc. It can be for any of those and more!
I’m going to have to hang on to this card for awhile. I know the perfect little boy in my family who this card reminds me of. Just because this card says, “To my favorite person,” that doesn’t mean the person you give it to has to be your favorite. It could just mean that you really like that person. The little boy I am thinking of? He’s my favorite person.
Nicely Noted also has an online shop where you can buy an organized and well put together card holder and organizer. There is even a space in the holder’s lid to write down the birthdays and important dates that you need to remember to send cards for. You can check out the shop here.
While I think this is a great service for busy moms, I also think that a subscription to Nicely Noted would be absolutely PERFECT as a “thank you” gift for your child’s teacher. Teachers receive a lot of gifts and favors through the year. They also celebrate a lot of birthdays. With all of the work they do through the year, why not take one more task off of their list? If you are interested in trying out Nicely Noted, or gifting a subscription to somebody you love or appreciate (or both!) click here to sign up and learn more.
Handwritten notes will NEVER go out of style.
