The big holiday last month was Memorial Day, a day to honor our veterans and those currently serving in the armed forces. Over the last few months, I’ve talked about Pet Gift Box, and their products, as well as how they give back to those who have served our country. Last month, they sent me a box that was the ultimate tribute (for dogs) to the men and women who have fought, and continue to fight, to keep our country free.
The toys in this month’s box were actually U.S. Army dog toys. First up was the Bear Recruit toy. I thought this was just the cutest thing! This little bear was dressed in pink camo with a hat to match. Dolly loved this bear, particularly to cuddle with.
The next toy was the ‘In the Field’ toy. Bella snatched this one up immediately and began swinging it everywhere. She loved the squeaker inside, and the rope antenna to hold onto.
The first box of treats in this month’s box were Pawtriotic Cranberry treats. I seriously loved the box design. It reminded me of old school military posters and signs, and I really loved how patriotic the box was. When I opened the box, I was surprised to find that the treats were actually in three different shapes: a star, a circle with an eagle in the middle, and an Uncle Sam hat. Super cute!
The last bag of treats were America’s Vet Dogs Soft and Moist Treats. As soon as I saw this bag, I recognized the name of the group America’s Vet Dogs from previous research into Pet Gift Box. Pet Gift Box gives money from their sales back to America’s Vet Dogs every month. A bonus to this bag of treats was the coupon they added in, which was for 75 cents off of a 10 oz. pouch of treats. My girls loved these treats, so I will definitely be using this coupon!
The last item in the box was a very patriotic paw print magnet for your car (or in my case refrigerator). I liked this item because it was for the humans, not for the pups, but it shows the world how much you love your dogs, as well as your country. This one was put on our fridge instead of a car because both my husband and I are very minimalistic, and refuse to decorate our cars.
